How Tusk MX works
Tusk MX is an optional receiving relay for Mammoth Mail. You point your domain’s MX records at Tusk MX, and your Mammoth Mail server makes an outbound connection to receive mail. No inbound SMTP port forwarding is required on your network.
Tusk MX does not host your inbox. Your self-hosted Mammoth Mail instance stores the delivered messages.
Set up your domain
Select Tusk MX in Mammoth Mail and publish the MX and TXT records it provides. The setup screen checks the records and shows when receiving is ready. You need control over the domain’s DNS and a running Mammoth Mail instance.
